The birds of the Galapagos Islands are rare, stunning and beautiful. However, what drew me to them most was their curiosity. They don’t hesitate to look right at you or into the lens, and they aren’t afraid of people. Because of this lack of fear, you had chances to look birds right in the eye, or even share a trail, humans and birds both walking along surrounded by the islands’ beauty. This interaction between man and nature was very special for me, and a pleasure to attempt to capture.
