Upon arriving in Iceland, I couldn’t help but be in awe of all of the water. Being a surfer and competitive swimmer from California, I was fascinated by how different the water in Iceland was from the water in California. From the purity of the water (being able to fill up water bottles from random rivers and lakes) to the force of the water in waterfalls, it was really interesting to explore how the water interacted with the landscape. This photo series is the result of lugging around a tripod, some very sketchy hikes, and my curiosity in exploring Iceland’s foreign landscape.
